Project Description
At nearly 1km long, this footpath through Jenkins Park in Templestowe needed careful staging
to keep the park open during construction, with a finish suited to the open parkland.
Manningham City Council engaged APS Civil to construct the path through the reserve. Width
varied between 1.5m and 2m to suit site conditions, which meant adapting the construction
approach as works progressed rather than applying a single method end to end.
APS Civil completed full excavation and concrete footpath construction, delivering close to 1km
in four weeks while maintaining park access throughout
