Dandenong Road East Path & Kerb

Project Information

Description: Dandenong Road East Shared User Path and Kerb Construction
Location: Frankston
Client: Frankston City Council
Duration: 6 weeks

Project Description

This project was defined by scale and live drainage constraints. Frankston City Council needed
600 lineal metres of kerb and channel demolished and replaced, plus nearly 2,000m2 of shared
user path constructed along a busy arterial corridor.

Twelve pits were constructed over the existing drainage, requiring precise level control to
maintain service without compromising the network. All work was completed in a live road
environment with traffic management in place.

APS Civil delivered the full scope within a six week programme, including line marking and
signage as part of the works

  • Construction of 600lm new barrier kerb
