Project Overview
A new dog park at Alma Reserve in Cockatoo, built for Cardinia Shire Council. The park is set out in two distinct areas, giving quieter or more timid dogs a space of their own away from the busier section. The works included upgraded fencing, drainage, footpaths, landscaping and new furniture, making for a practical and welcoming space for the local dog community.

Challenges
Weather was the main challenge across the build. Wet conditions on the ground meant the works had to be staged around the weather to keep the site workable and the job moving.
Outcome
A well-finished dog park that gives Cockatoo’s dogs and their owners a comfortable, well-set-out space, with separate areas to suit dogs of different temperaments.
